Living From the Heart - Sacred Ceremony
During this guided sacred ceremony you'll be given the opportunity to reconnect with and listen to your heart and partner. Moving out of the analytical, left-brained action orientation, and dropping into the quiet calm of inner-knowing, we'll envelope you in a cocoon of tranquility so you can hear the call of your heart.
Daily Yoga
Our yoga sessions will be approximately 1-hour in duration at varying times during the retreat. Some will be held outdoors (weather permitting) and others indoors. You'll experience 3 different types of Hatha yoga (vinyasa, restorative and slow flow) for a total of 4 sessions. Props and mats will be provided. Please dress comfortably and bring a water bottle. These sessions are designed to accommodate all experience levels of yogis. Modifications will be discussed and hands-on support if desired.
05
Individual Art Project
Art is a beautiful of form of therapy and can give you a way of expressing feelings that reside in the subconscious. During this session, we'll offer you some prompts, materials and time for you to capture your innermost thoughts, and get to the root of blockages that are stifling your ability to connect with yourself and others.

Breathwork Sessions
Every day we will engage in breathwork to help reduce cortisol and anxiety. Working with your partner, you'll be encouraged to hold space for one another as you leverage breathing techniques designed to move trapped, stagnant energy and reveal patterns of 'holding'. Some of the practices will be tools you can take with you to practice on your own post-retreat while others can be facilitated remotely to help you tap into deeper stories, beliefs or trauma that keeps you from genuine intimacy.
11
Value Mapping
What are the values you appreciate most and are you living a life aligned to this moral compass? In this session, you and your partner will work individually and collectively to see how you differ and align on your guiding principles. At the end of the session, we'll create a value map and a set of intentions for the next 90-days that will be your guide for decision-making and prioritizing.

Writing & Sound Healing
We'll give you some wonderful food for thought and prompts that will allow you to explore concepts like values, morals, fears, joys, and more so you can understand what motivates you into action. During this session, you'll also be bathed in a wonderful sound healing using different frequencies in which the body's organs and systems resonate to restore coherence.
06
Couple's Art Project
Working with your partner, you'll create a temporary piece of art using nature as your guide. Gathering only that which Mother Nature supplies, you will come up with a representative piece of art for a given set of emotions. This is an excellent time to connect with each other and nature to help the rest of the group see through your eyes.
08
Daily Guided Meditation
Cortisol reduction is a critical part of managing sex hormones like estrogen and progesterone. Additionally, oxytocin stops the production of cortisol. When we meditate, we move the brain into the alpha-theta brainwave state which increases our production of oxytocin. A daily meditation practice can help reduce stress, anxiety and cortisol production making the energy available to create healthy sex hormones.
10
Sunrise Hike
Lace up your boots and pack some water, we're hitting the trail! This easy to moderate hike will require a headlamp or flashlight. Dress appropriately for the weather, and wear layers. The mornings can be quite chilly. There is an element of 'good stress' that comes from putting yourself in unfamiliar situations that creates new neuropathways. Getting out of our comfort zone and braving the unknown is empowering and creates a sense of confidence.
12
Toxicity & Escapism
How toxic cultures, relationships, behaviors and experiences leave long-lasting impressions that consciously and subconsciously contribute numbness, escapism, and shut down. In this talk we'll help you identify the early warning signs for yourself and your relationships, and give you an understanding of how you can stimulate re-engagement or seek alternative opportunities.
14
How Food is Impacting Your Relationships
The relationship between your gut, brain and immune system is very well researched and established, but how many of you are aware of the impact food and nutrition is having on your hormones and mood? Mood disorders continue to increase as do the rates of metabolic disease which puts a significant strain not only on your health, but on those around you. This session is designed to help you understand which dietary choices you might be making that are contributing to anxiety, depression, a short temper, irritability, impatience and more.
