Navigating Transition: A Mental Health & Wellness Retreat

November 5 - 8 in Winter Park, CO

Save $200 before October 5

Something in your life is ending. Or it already has.
And you don't know who you are or what comes next
in this new chapter.

You're not broken. You're in transition.

Most of the people who come to this retreat are navigating the space between who they've been and who they're becoming. Grieving a version of their former selves, and bracing for a new, undefined vision that hasn't fully materialized.

Some are in the middle of divorce, or the long tail of one. Some have lost someone central — a parent, a partner, a child, a friend — and are learning to live in the shape of that absence. Some are watching their children leave home, and meeting the strange grief of an empty house they worked their whole lives to fill. Some are in recovery — from addiction, from illness, from a version of themselves that nearly cost them everything. Some walked away from a career that used to be their whole identity, or were the casualty of an unplanned exit. Some are simply standing at a crossing that doesn't have a name yet — knowing something is over, and not yet knowing what comes next.

If you're in one of those places, you might be:

  • Tired in a way sleep doesn't fix.

  • Anxious about a future you can't picture clearly.

  • Grieving something or someone lost to you now.

  • Self-soothing in ways that are unhealthy.

  • Feeling stuck, but not because you're doing something wrong, but because you're experiencing one of life's major transitions.

This retreat was built for exactly this transition.

Cost:

  • $1850/person Private King Deluxe Room (max 2 ppl)

  • $1750/person Private King Standard Room (max 2 ppl)

  • $1450/person Shared Bunk Room (max 4 ppl)

  • $1150 Workshop Only (per person)

Reserving your spot:

A non-refundable deposit of $750 holds your place. The balance is due 30 days before the retreat. See cancellation policy for more details.

What this retreat is...

A container for a new reality.

This is not a wellness weekend. It's not a bootcamp, a spa trip, or a 'woo woo' experience that feels uplifting until you return home to daily living.

It's a container built for one thing: helping you navigate a real threshold in your life with guidance from people who understand what that transition asks of you.

This is a 4-day, 3-night weekend of threshold work for a small, intimate group of seven people, held in a private mountain home, designed to do three things:

1. Help you rest. Your nervous system has been carrying more than it was built to carry. Before anything else can happen, your body needs to feel safe.

2. Help you grieve what's ending. Most transitions fail — or take significantly longer  — because we skip the grieving stage. You cannot become the new version of yourself while holding an old image that no longer serves. This retreat gives you real space and practices to let the old chapter finish and honor the lessons.

3. Help you begin — quietly, honestly — to sense what wants to come next. Not with vision boards or five-year plans. With practices that let the deeper part of you speak, and with the kind of quiet that lets you actually hear it.

You will not leave here with your whole future figured out. You will leave with your feet under you again, with practices you can take home, and with a clearer sense of the next steps.

Your Guide for the Weekend

Allison Headshot.jpg
Your facilitator has crossed most of these thresholds herself.

Allison Jurgens spent twenty years as a Global VP of Marketing before her own reckoning caught up with her. She has lived — not read about, LIVED — job loss, the death of people she loved, miscarriage, divorce, the slow work of recovery from unhealthy patterns, geographic upheavals, and the specific grief of dreams that didn't come true and expectations that could be met.

Every threshold on the list above, she has crossed and has navigated with the practices and methodology shared during the retreat.

After walking through her own long transition, she trained as an 800-hour Ayurveda Yoga Therapist, Certified Sound Healer, Meditation Guide, and Executive Wellness Coach, and founded Ascending Spirit in Winter Park to hold the kind of retreat she wishes had existed when she was in the middle of her own major life transitions.

The Experience

We commune in a beautiful, well-appointed home in Winter Park after an orientation at Ascending Spirit Wellness Center, owned and operated by Allison. The majority of the retreat will be hosted in these two spaces.

Every meal is lovingly prepared by me. Real, nourishing, Ayurveda-inspired food offers grounding and satiety to help the nervous system repair and regulate. You'll notice a shift in your mood after four days of wholesome, home-cooked meals.

A methodology and accompanying practices that meet you where you actually are and help with taking the next steps. Breathwork. Restorative yoga. Sound healing. Guided meditation. Art therapy. Soul collage. Value mapping. Time outside. These aren't just wellness resort activities, but rather are integral parts of healing and stabilizing.

Unscheduled time, every day. You'll have unstructured time — for walks, journaling, naps, sitting with tea, real conversation, or simply watching the light reflect on the mountains.
